About the Artist

Selfie.jpg

Dani is an emerging artist from Muskoka, Ontario whose artwork is characterized by her unique blend of realism, abstract, and analogous colour schemes. She primarily works in acrylic, ink, and mixed media to capture landscapes, human form, and emotion. She is a member of Muskoka Arts & Crafts and has participated in the  annual 2023 and 2024 Spring Member's Shows, and the 2024 Autumn Art Crawl downtown Bracebridge.

There is a recurring theme of nature and human emotions within her work. She tends to use cool colour schemes, gravitating towards hues of blue and purple. Her main influences are mental health advocacy, nature, and lyricism. Her body of work seeks to advocate for those suffering from mental illness and eating disorders, and the struggles that come with them.
